its really good to see that there are still ppl here..

its kinda refreshing when i check this board just about every single day and the ppl are still here...even though its a frustrating season, its good to see the grades and the pbp threads everyday...

I've relegated myself to talking about crappy reality tv shows when I don't have anything nice to say about the team. I'm not into the blame game so I find myself having to check out of some of the threads. But I'm a fan through and through so I'll probably always visit at least twice daily for the latest news and commentary.

as much as it hurts, with this seasons help, you just keep going back to this site, cuz the love for the kings is just way to strong to let em go...

once a kings fan always a kings fan...

Watching the Hawks game, there's probably more people at a Thrashers game, makes me realize that Sacramento still cares a good deal about this team.

This has been one of my favorite sites for the last couple of years, but I gotta say this year its been tough. I'm still a Kings fan and will always be, but coming here gets me so frustrated (not because of what people say but because I have to think about the Kings so much) that I just avoid it sometimes. Is that extreme?

We've been committed to the Kings for years. Not about to stop now.
I'm 32 yrs old...been a fan since day one when I was 10...I may be a cynic from time to time, and I do throw negative jabs at the team...but that doesnt sway me from my allegiance for the Kings. As long as they're still in Sacramento, that is.:D

edit: 22 long, exciting, hard years and counting!!!

Actually, my guess is that over the long haul fans of long-struggling teams don't derive any less enjoyment than fans of long-time dominant teams because of the way our reactive attitudes ("enjoyment from rooting for a sports team" isn't what most people would think of when they think about reactive attitudes, but it really belongs in that category!) depend on expectations. However unintuitive it may be, I think there is reason to believe it's true--I really don't think it's been any more fun rooting for the Lakers over the years than for the Clippers, for example.

That said, I am never going to abandon the "Kings fans have suffered so much over the years, and yet they still stay loyal to their team, so they are better than the 'I-love-my-Lakers/Celtics-and-my-14/16-championships' fans" spiel.

We have no lives :(

I come here as much as i can. am a busy man. and i usually come here to rant about the Kings because thats the word the Kings deserve this season. hopefully this off-season our best move isn't Loren Woods but actually a calibre player.

I don't pop in everyday but Kingsfans is a great place to hang out with good people. I have learned a tremendous amount here, have had people to be excited with, depressed with and laughed with over the Kings and life in general. Even when they play as crappy as they did last night (and I think that was the worst of the worst) I still enjoy watching the Kings - and where else could we get such great PBP and grades or have somewhere to go in TDOS?

By the way, my husband and I have been able to get really good seats this year, fairly cheaply by buying them the day of the game - so I actually got to sit in the lower section several times, in good spots.... it was awesome! So one bright note to the season.... I'm guessing tomorrow would be a great day for tickets after last nights game!

there were over 120 visitors on the site last night. the last time is saw that many visitors we'd just made the 2nd round of the playoffs in 2003.

Yep...Hopefully he'll resign when his contracts up.

I think Petrie has bad traded and wait and see'd us into a 2 season minimum rebuild period before this team is good again (not counting this bust season).

I've been exceptionally busy the last few days. Missed watching a couple of games.

I'm a fan of the Kings, for better (02-03) or worse (06-07), for richer (winning) for poorer (losing) through sickness (injury) and health (rarer), for as long as we both shall live. ;) :D
