I Hate Steve Kerr

i dont know what topic this should be in but i think it should be in all. this guy is so in favor of the spurs its insane. yah they beat us tonite but he praises them as gods. i really wish he would swallow his own excrement
 
he should not be allowed to do spurs games. he's too big of a homer

last year the trio of marv kerr and czar was my fav. he's not THAT bad, just when the spurs are on.

Agreed he should not be doing the Spurs games. Him doing a Spurs/Kings game is actually more annoying now than Walton.:eek: Did I just say that?:D

i liked george karl .. he was pretty funny doing games. and tom tolbert is easily my fav guy now, funny on the air on knbr, and equally funny on tnt.
 
NO ONE is more annoying than Walton. Steve at least gave credit to the Kings for staying in the game. As the game progressed, he actually seemed to be making a conscious effort to NOT talk simply about the Spurs.

For the record I will repeat once again: NO ONE is more annoying than Bill Walton. NO one, in the entire history of the world. Not one soul.

hmmmm... how about gilbert godfried (?) .. the squinty eye guy with the really loud & whiny voice? he's pretty annoying....

Are you absolutely 100% postive? I can think of some of the "posters"
who were here back a few years ago who could seriously grind ones nerves.:D

Once I stopped taking Walton seriously, I found him quite hilarious. It probably didn't hurt that the Kings were winning those games.

there is no annoucer in the history of the game that is more annoying then walton.

and i'll never forget him in his bike shorts *shudders* at least kerr keeps his pants on..... and i don't know why i brought that up......

Kerr from SA is just like Walton from LA

Do I necessarily hate Steve Kerr? No

Although I do think he comes from the Bill Walton's new School of Broadcasters,

you know, the ones who should never be announcers when their most successful teams that they're affiliated with are broadcast. Just for fear of being biased.

Or just constantly repeat themselves over and over in hopes that the public didn't quite hear it the first time.

Vladefan, I would have agreed with you on this up until about 1 year ago. Everyone has hated Walton for a long time but now his comments have become so stupid that it is actually funny. When Steve Kerr talks about the Spurs, he just sits there basically with kneepads on ready to, well we all know where thats going. It is quite sad.

As suggested .... MUTE your TV ... turn on radio. Besides, I had more on my mind than what Kerr was commentating on ....

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Steve Kerr now a part owner of the Phoenix Suns??? I'm pretty sure he is.

I just found out that he is indeed a minority owner of the Suns.

Minority Owner and Consultant

A five-time NBA champion and 15-year veteran as a player, Steve Kerr, returns to the organization where he began his professional career.

Kerr was a Suns’ second selection in the 1988 NBA Draft (50th overall) after a stellar four-year collegiate career at the University of Arizona. Kerr, who is the league’s all-time leader in career three-point field goal percentage, with a .454 mark (726-1599), played his rookie season in the NBA with Phoenix in 1988-89.

Kerr won three NBA Titles with the Chicago Bulls (1996, 1997 and 1998) and was a member of both San Antonio Spurs NBA Championship Teams (1999 and 2003). Kerr, who retired after the 2002-03 season, appeared in 910 regular season games, averaging 6.0 points, 1.8 assist and 1.2 rebounds per contests.

This past season Kerr was an NBA analyst for Turner Sports and worked in the Spurs broadcasting booth.

Kerr currently serves on the Board of Directors of Boys Hope Girls Hope of San Antonio.

Kerr, who was born in Beirut, Lebanon on Sept. 27, 1965, earned his degree in general studies from Arizona with emphases in History, English and Sociology in 1988.

He and wife, Margot, have three children, Nicholas, Madeleine and Matthew.
 
Why you hate Kerr? Just ignore him if he praise the Spurs(always)! Maybe that's how he talk, say in the air, because the Spurs is really a good team! Or he just like the Spurs...If he don't like the Kings, so be it, I don't care who he likes! And if he's annoying, have you heard Jerry Reynolds????

He praise other teams as well, not only Spurs, and I think he just missed Czar!;) Those trio with Marv was the best....

Geez, the most biased person I know is Jerry Reynolds, can't stand his voice! Even though he is a Kings homer, I like Kerr as a commentator more than that guy!

I'm not only a Kingsfan, also a NBA fan, so I follow different teams as well! And the most nonsense, I hate to hear would be that old guy, the worst broadcaster in my opinion. Grant Napear is not that bad! So is Steve Kerr!

And there's nothing more annoying than Walton!

I agree, I don't think Kerr is doing a bad job. He said good things about both sides.

I actually don't like kings TV. To me, they seem to be very favored of Kings side. Although I love the kings, I like balanced commentary.
