how many bad calls Kings have got per game?

I think the refs took 4 pts off the board. Correct if I am wrong. I am very sure they took 2 pts off because they got the offensive goaltending wrong...........

It's what happens when you play teams like the Spurs.....they are allowed to play "defense" different then anyone else and can hold/grab and hack at will but if you simply get within 2 inches you are called for a foul. It would really be nice if the NBA called games consistently......also, why do you put a ref like Jack Nies who is about 80 with basically 2 rookies??? Horrible.

really no purpose in complaining now.. i do agree that there have been really bad calls, but that's the NBA.. i just really appreciate the way we hung in there.. webb was definitely hurting.. you could see it in his face, the way he jogged, etc.. the ankle needs a little rest..

if ever we meet them in the playoffs, it'll be really interesting.. i believe kings will come out on top, especially when healthy.. :)

the game was totally controlled by Ref. at the 4th quar.

hehe there was a time where we were in the penalty (abt 5+ mins to go) and they only had 1 team foul.. really disappointing.. but oh well..

Yeah NBA Refs suck. It's a given! Tonight they hurt us... tommorow they might help us. Good job by the guys hangin in there.

the goaltending call was a HORRIBLE call! Overall, I was very frusterated with the refs tonight. I don't see why it's so hard to call the game FAIR!

Webb does need to rest. He was definitely in pain. Do you think they'll rest him tomorrow night? I assume we probably won't have Pedja back tomorrow, so it could be an interesting game.

Is it me or is the officiating getting worse? Has it ever been this bad? I've only been watching games regisouly for about 6 years and every year it seems to get worse.

As much as you want to blame the refs for the game, its a weak excuse. The Kings need to win regardless of how bad the game is called.

I don't know. I've never seen a worse officiated game than game 6 in 2002...

Whats going to be your excuse when the Pats lose? Just kidding, thats highly unlikely.

I appreciate them hanging in there as well but it's just frustrating to see how repeatedly that happens to Sacramento(not that the Kings have never been slid a few calls their way). Just not fun when you're 5 on 8, that's all.

i agree..

It's all poiltics and marketing look at the new wheaties cereal Box with Tim duncan on the cover.Might sound way out and way to the left. But it is true. The last spurs & kings game was the same way the refs let the spurs impose will power on the kings defensively, allowing them to play over agreessive hacking the cutters pushing over the screens holding grabbing etc.Peja was called for 2 offensive pushing fouls which he was just being agressive giving his defender a light brush.Same today with webber picking up those little junk fouls.Soon as the kings cut it to one they stated all over again with the Bad calls which inturn stoppped the momentum.I'll bet the Kings players are complaining in privated and maybe to the media.Without peja and Bobby jackson KINGS hung in there and may have pulled it out if maybe the game was called even.NO RESPECT

yes, the nba is one big conspiracy. they get together every summer and draw straws to see which team gets to win the title the next season. bad calls are made ALLLLLL the time. we (kings fans) just see it happening to the kings cuz .. gee .. mmm ... cuz we're watching all the kings games?? maybe ... ???

it happens every game, every team. refs are human, they make mistakes. generally they do a pretty good job as a group. but just like you, they aren't perfect.

not just because we see them all the time.I think the kings get the shaft more than any other TEAM with a good record.

jeffy - Not all of us say it's just happening to the Kings.

Bad calls ARE made all the time. Way too often, in fact. Are you saying it's so common we should just accept it and not mention it?

It's bad and it's getting worse. I'm not using it as an excuse for the loss, but I don't see the problem in mentioning it.

just gets a little predictable around here. kings lose to a good team, and the number 1 post/comment by far is how the kings were the victim of bad calls.

its cool to talk about whatever, its a "free" board. sometimes reality needs to make a bit of a suprise visit, and maybe point out its not a big conspiracy, david stern doesn't hate the kings... like all things in life, the nba & ref's should continue to take steps to improve, but the end of the game is: ref's are human, they are going to make bad calls, sometimes it will hurt the kings, sometimes they will help. ultimately, the kings control their own destiny.

I don't usually like to complain about the officiating but I do have an observation-

Miller shot 3 freethrows Webber shot 4 and Bibby had 2 attempts.

These 3 Kings starters COMBINED had the same amount
of attempts as Robert Horry:eek:

Oh please, who said anything about a conspiracy? The simple fact is, defensive teams are allowed to play defense differently than teams who do not have a defensive reputation, which is crap.
I don't have a problem with the refs missing calls here and there, they are human. They did not cost us the game by missing a couple calls. The ISSUE is the fact that they officiate the two teams differently

no david stern doesn't hate the kings but you must remember at the end of the day this is a BUSINESS.

of course its a business.... and what makes good business is every team is successful, that every city that has a team, every fan, enjoys the product. do u actually know anything about business? you think the spurs & tim duncan are some nationwide marketing gold mine? the spurs are a middle market team, this isn't the lakers or knicks or celts we are talking about ...

No but they do have some international players with high marketing value.
