Don't forget about Barnes

Thank You Matt Barnes

Just when this guy's gameplay goes up, he is shipped off to Philly. He gives 100% hustle and energy, something the kings lack and nothing the philly 3 provides. I wouldn't even trade barnes for two of these guys. This is tickin me off...

Believe me, no one is forgetting about Matt.

Damn, I got his autograph at the NJ game, and just like that......he's gone.

Barnes was really good in Sacramento too. I really miss him. e was a great hussler,

and one of the reasons we beat NY at home at the game when the Kings stole the W.

Matt Barnes has been really awesome!
I hate to see him leave the Kings so soon, especially since he is our hometown boy. We'll miss ya Matt!
Best of luck in Philly, we'll never forget you Sac Towns Finest!!!

The best of luck to Matt Barnes. He was such a fun player to watch. We got see him, really see and watch him grow as a player with each game. It didn't matter whether he made the mistakes he did because it did with hussle, heart, and passion, and he only got better. It pains me that he will no longer be one of us. Matt, you will be greatly missed. Come home soon.

Barnes was the SAC TOWN kid! He loved playing for the kings and just as he was getting better..BOOM.. hes gone! I wish him luck along with Webber in Philly.

I think his presence on the floor and willing to try to help us when we needed him is what will be missed more than anything. I hope he has great seasons ahead of him, and I will miss him. Good luck Matt!

I don't think anyone is disrepecting Barnes by not brining him up. Webber made the Kings what they are today. Webber is/was the Kings...

Ya, I should have picked a better topic name. Sorry if I led all the fans here that they don't care because that is obvious not the case.

what pains me is the fact that philly will probably just waive him down the line. i hope philly gives him the respect he deserves and gives him a shot, but i dont know how optimistic i'd be...

If they waive him maybe we can get him back???

ya know, that thought just occured to me as well. i have no idea. but that would be wicked awesome. it would add less insult to this major injury.

I feel bad for Barnes. This is where he wanted to be and now he's going across the country to a team that I doubt will use him very much at all. I'm definitely going to miss him. One of the few guys we had this year who didn't need shots to be effective.
Just look at his stats in the 9 games he started. What jumps out is that he got 2.7 offensive rebounds and 1.6 steals per game in those starts. We'll miss those extra posessions he created.

Thank you Barnes, and sorry you had to be victim to the worst season of decisions Petrie has made so far.
