Dish Network drops NBC Sports channels airing Kings, Warriors, Giants, A's, Sharks games

Dish Network will no longer carry two regional sports networks that broadcast Kings games and hundreds of other professional sporting events in Northern California. Dish Network removed NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California from its Dish TV and Sling TV platforms Thursday as part of a broader move impacting subscribers in 10 states and Washington, D.C. Yep, we dropped Dish two weeks ago because of this. Dish has really cut back on sports - countrywide.

Picked up DirectTV. Not the best interface or features but it is certainly sport rich. No PAC-12 network though.

Sling TV is a good deal at $35 but canceled and went with HULU TV to get Kings on NBC California. Dish is going for the no sports low cost strategy.
