Here's the deal. The rights to the video broadcasts of NBA games belong to the teams involved and the NBA. If you post clips without their "express written permission" - which they do NOT give out lightly, you run the risk of getting in trouble with the NBA and that's NOT something a fan board wants to do...

It's like tune swapping. A lot of people did it for a long time and now some are paying the price.

We don't write the laws but we have to do what we can not to encourage people to break the ones that are there, whether we agree with them or not.
