Is Shareef Abdur-Rahim only signed to a one year deal?? According to the ESPN.com trade checker he's only signed for one year at $5 million. I remember hearing differeing reports when he was signed on whether it was a five year deal for the MLE or a one year deal.

Oh goodness. That's the first time I've heard that, and certainly not how its listed on the other sites (realgm, hoopshype).

ESPN has been reporting the one-year deal since SAR talked to Sac, and as far as I've seen or heard, no one else says 1 year. Everyone else said 4 years (although it wasn't clear how long the deal was when it was signed)

Unless your post raised flags and they changed it, it currently says it's for 4 years, not 1.
