Wood was dealing, wanted to keep pitching, and they take him out after 3 like he’s returning from Tommy John and not quarantine, as if pitch count is going to bring his covid back or missing three starts means his arm needs to be built back up that slowly..and Littell promptly gives 1st and 3rd with zero outs

This FO and coaching staff manages in the 21st century. Pitch counts after a certain amount of time off, when to pull guys, how to bring guys up. Long gone are the days of Bochy managing through his "gut".
