They have a baseball style of announcing based on storytelling. Unfortunately, basketball is too fast paced for even most short stories so kayte ends up talking over the action.
I heard originally it was a variation of the Vulcan salute, but not all the guys could spread their fingers apart.
Now it signifies how many guys are untouchable on the team.
I liked that fox stepped to the side during the last of the 4th and OT. He stepped up in the 2nd OT, but he didn't have it tonight and he didn't force anything.
The LeBron explainer left me more confused about what it was. The explanation seemed to be "we made up a forced acronym to sum up some black box stats to show overall offensive and defensive effectiveness."
You know the kings are 4-0 against the top 3 teams in the West, right? And the "Celtics debacle" only counts as one loss.
Are the Kings the best team in the league? No, but it's a bit much suggesting they haven't beaten really good teams or are feasting on "sub/elite" teams.
Sports have a way of teaching life lessons about how certainty isn't really so certain in the real world. The Wizards are a professional bb team and it only takes Kuzna or Poole getting hot and the kings 3 point shooting going cold for a forum meltdown.
Frustrating and also not fun basketball no matter who you are rooting for.
Also, fox needs to drive at the end of quarters and not dribble around the perimeter before shooting a 3.
