I'm chiming in here to recant my predraft take on Luka. I wanted JJJ and thought Luka was a Gordon Hayward type. Dead wrong, he's a superstar. We blew it.

It's not just us, valde and co. didn't like the fit either. Not that it couldn't have worked, just that Bagley was a better all around option all things considered.

Another thing to look at is Luka's defense... Dallas has been the worst in the league vs small forwards this year. Not saying it can't get better but was a major area of concern coming in and while Bagley has shown he can be a good defender in the NBA Luka has not.

Why do you say this? Do you not see future all star in Fox? He needs the ball, he's made an amazing jump from last year to this year and still has so much room to get better.

Way better than I thought. I wanted jjj at #2 but Bagley has made me a believer. He's so fluid for a guy his size and the defense was not at all expected by me. He's a future star from the looks at it, if we could do the draft over right now he'd be my guy at two.

Impossible to know, it all depends on Bagley. I voted for "C" cause I would've rather drafted jjj or Bamba but we won't know for a few years. Free agency has been uninspiring of course.
