Kings hire Igor Kokoskov as assistant coach.

good move. the phoenix experience, as unpleasant as it was, was usefull to him for further growth as coach.

Is Willie Cauley-Stein still an option at center for Sacramento Kings?

each one of those has some drawback be it getability, age, size, perimeter defense..etc.. but obviously no one is a perfect. maybe Turner out of all of those is a best fit with upside?

Is Willie Cauley-Stein still an option at center for Sacramento Kings?

Who can we get to pair with Bagley that will defend centers, spread the floor, while not defending PNR/perimeter significantly worse than WCS? Who is that player?

    Bogi

Our backup SG was our best backup PG this year dribble dribble dribbling his way into 3.8 assists per game on a great AST/TO ratio of 2.23. That's when he was not playing our backup SF.

    Clint Capela may be available

The question is who will we get that is better, or that will fill the needs we have without losing on what WCS brought to the team.

    Clint Capela may be available

I've always thought that the consistency complaints about WCS are way overstated on this forum, but that is a minority view.

Kings will no longer have cheerleaders

    its because of Walton.

    Clint Capela may be available

WCS improved every season. I think he will continue to do so.

    Clint Capela may be available

Maybe that's the case but finding out is more involved. WCS needs to develop a nice half hook and use it instead of the "guard like" drive. That would do wonders for his game I think.

    Clint Capela may be available

Just a correction there, Capela shot 28% on jump shots according to basketball reference. And doing a similar calculation on Capella also makes a large amount of shots he takes a bad possession.

    Clint Capela may be available

The most blocked player is Kemba Walker 126 blocks against. Atentokounmpo is 4th with 100 blocks against. Bigs like Randle, Drummond, KAT and Embiid are ahead of WCS who is 20th most blocked player with 74 blocks against. He is followed with Montrezl Harell with 73 blocks against. Capela...

    Clint Capela may be available

WCS made 55.6% of his shots last season. Interestingly enough both Capela and WCS missed about half of their layups.

    The Finals

i still expect Raptors to win tonight and to do it by basically having the control of the game from the beginning.

    The Finals

agreed about level of dificulty. but remeber, Warriors had KD against Clippers and for the majority of the Houston series. Raptors not quite as good on defense as Clippers and not quite as good on offense as Houston, but maybe just good enough at both for some kind of a goldilocks scenario...

    The Finals

just checked the odds and Warriors indeed are favorites. I was thinking that Raptors perimeter defense would be able to slow down Steph/Klay enough for the difference in combined skill/size of the interior to tip scales in their favor. Obviously this calculation changes if you add Cousins/KD...

    The Finals

Depending on his form, this will make the Warriors more competative. still probably will not be enough.

    Clint Capela may be available

Bagley is too small to play center defensively. In addition, even if he becomes a respectable 3 pt shooter he should not be used as a floor spacer standing in the corner. To maximize Bagleys talent, he needs to be paired with a defensive center that can space the floor. That way he can defend...

Raptors should win fairly easily unless Cousins and KD come back. Raptors in 5.
