    OG Anunoby

OG Anunoby would be a great get. It does not matter if he only plays 2/3rd of the regular season as long as he is fit for the playoffs. If the Raptors say no and OG Anunoby is not available, there is another option... i.e., go hard for Herbert Jones instead. Herb is like Vanderbilt but with...

Sims would be a really good player to trade for too. His contract is cheap and the defensive potential is impressive.

Hartenstein and Chuma Okeke would round out the team real nice for a deep playoff run. PG: Fox, Davion SG: Huerter, Monk SF: Barnes, Okeke PF: Murray, Lyles CE: Sabonis, Hartenstein + Terence, Okpala, Dozier

How about Chuma Okeke? He is currently rehabbing after a knee surgery but should be back on the court soon. He seems like a real good option as backup for Small Forward at 6'7" 230lbs. Still only 24yo. Anyway, he plays defense very well. His usage is low and he is a team oriented player...

Best case scenario IMO... re-sign Barnes ($16M) and sign Kuzma ($16M), splitting the $32m that I think you said would be available after trading Holmes. Kuzma doesn't seem to be all about the money so he could be open to that. Being in Cali and playing for a contender seem to be important to...

    Potential Free agent/trade/sign tracker

Reddish seems worth a gamble. He may need to improve his effficiency and shot selection, but there are quite a few teams that need a long, athletic SF who is not a liability on defense... Lakers, Kings, Portland, Cleveland, Dallas and even Houston, to name a few.

The Kings have the 3rd best ORtg in the league this season... and the 5th worst DRtg. So the FO's objective should be to shore up the defense with someone who can slot in alongside Fox, Huerter/Monk, Murray/Barnes and Sabonis.

Who Should We Sign? (2023 Off-Season)

As Tetsujin pointed out, he is signed until 2025-26. It was a good suggestion though.

Who Should We Sign? (2023 Off-Season)

I'm balking at that stated price (Murray, Davion, three 1st round picks). Don't get me wrong though, Siakam is a phenomenal player who is well worth this price and his fit with Sabonis-Fox is literally perfect. What I'm balking over is simply that it would tie the Kings hands for many years...

The Suns have reportedly turned down a trade offer made by the Wizards of Rui Hachimura for Jay Crowder. What can the Kings offer to get Rui? Could the Wizards be tempted into swapping him for Okpala and Lyles or Metu? I'm doubtful about his fit with Sabonis-Murray... but he could be useful...

Kyle Kuzma on the Kings radar (again)?

Welp, it looks like Kuz read this thread and decided to either make a point or showcase himself. :P

Hehe. Monte McNair really should be inquiring about Vanderbilt though because his potential fit with the others seems really good.

Looking at more realistic targets than Anunoby... I've been watching a few Jazz games during their hot start to the season. Jarred Vanderbilt seems like he could be a very good fit at PF. I wonder what the Jazz would want for him and can the Kings afford it? He is 6'9" and is very mobile at...

    Potential Free agent/trade/sign tracker

I wonder if the Kings can make a trade with Toronto before this February's deadline, for one of: 1) Precious Achiuwa 2) Chris Boucher 3) Juancho Hernangomez A trade for Boucher or Hernangomez may not sound sexy on paper but could work great on the court. They would be nice PFs to add into the...

Kyle Kuzma on the Kings radar (again)?

I'd prefer Anunoby too but that article says, "HB, Davion Mitchell and some picks". Twslam07 explained to me in another thread that the Kings can't offer picks until the pick owed to the Hawks conveys. So if the Kings are not able to trade for Anunoby... he could be a free agent in 2024, if he...

You have a point, and the Cavs just might cut the Kings out and swap Okoro for Reddish themselves. Anyway, I don't think Mobley is ready to play many minutes at C. When Allen got injured recently, they lost a number of games.

A three team merry-go-round? Kings get: Cam Reddish + Jericho Sims + Raul Neto (Neto is just filler.) Knicks get: Isaac Okoro + Lamar Stevens (two SFs to replace Reddish.) Cavs get: Richaun Holmes (better back-up Center than Robin Lopez.) http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2mrz9u3p...

Who Should We Sign? (2023 Off-Season)

DeAnthony Melton has been playing very well for the 76ers while Harden and Maxey were out. If the Kings want to move on from Davion, it could be worth trading for him. I feel like the 76ers would owe value to the Kings in this trade, so the Kings could use the opportunity to rope in another...

    Richaun Holmes

A hopeful scenario... Richaun Holmes for Cam Reddish + Jericho Sims + Svi Mykhailuk Reddish provides depth and length at SF. Sims replaces Holmes as the backup Center and is a good defender. Mykhailuk is there as filler but can provide some more shooting depth. I'm not sure if there are...

Who Should We Sign? (2023 Off-Season)

Well, that's true, they did give up a first for Reddish. They're running out of time to make something of that trade though. He already requested a trade this past summer, and is reportedly asking for one again as he isn't getting more playing time under Thibbs. There are also articles like...
