    Don't need Luka!

Agreed. This is exactly the point of the Luka dynamic. While Luka is a fantastic player, the identity of this team would be very different with him. The pace that the Kings run at and are so successful with would be different. Watching Dallas, they are not the fast pace and running team that...

    SF Trades

Yes, probably the 3rd option behind Buddy and Fox, but with way the Kings move the ball, a true 3rd option can average 16-18 points/game easy.

    Minority Owners Meddling again

Yes, I understand Vlade made the decision to extend the coaches. I don't understand why he would have Williams finish off the contracts. That would seem like an oversight on Vlade's part to have public enemy #1 (Williams) present the Coaches with their contract paperwork. Maybe Vlade was...

I would definitely try to re-sign WCS. We could include Shumpert and KK, plus they get under the Luxury Tax. KK could be their starting center. If need be, I could include a couple of 2nd round picks. But no way would I trade our starting center and starting small forward for Porter. That is a...

    SF Trades

Give up both WCS and Shumpert for Porter? That would be a massive overpay, both asset and salary wise. We need to dictate the terms to Washington and I'm not including both WCS and Shumpert for Porter. I may be willing to include Shumpert, since Porter would take most of his minutes anyways...

    Minority Owners Meddling again

Then why have Brandon Williams finish off the assistant coaches contract extensions? Doesn't make sense. I do agree that Williams will leave this summer though.

    Minority Owners Meddling again

This is why I think Brandon Williams still has a job. Vlade's weak point is his command of getting the fine print done on deals. Vlade has the vision, but he doesn't know the nuances of how the legal lingo works and the fine print. This is where Williams value probably comes. He knows the...

    SF Trades

If Porter is traded as a straight salary dump, there is no one that can offer the Wiz the opportunity to re-set their Luxury Tax penalty with a trade except for the Kings. We could throw in a couple of our 2nd rounders to sweeten the deal, but I wouldn't include anything of real value in the deal.

Kings discussing trade for Kanter?- Woj

Well that should drive down the Knicks asking price! We may be able to get the Knicks first round pick too in a ZBo trade! :p

Since Charlotte is so desperate to trade Batum, so they can re-sign Kemba, I wonder if they would be willing to include SF Miles Bridges (2018 12th pick) as the sweetener, instead of their 2019 first round pick. They still have MKG as a small forward and I don't really want a free agent-to-be...

    Kings interested in Lin?

I think Atlanta is trying to get a first rounder for Lin. We need to save our assets for a small forward.

Time to put Bagley in the starting lineup?

I liked that Joeger had Bagley in there at the end of the close game against Charlotte with WCS. These are great learning situations for Bagley and gives Joeger a good look at how a Bagley-WCS big man combo will work. I think they did pretty well together to close that game. I wish the guards...

Capela will be back in 4-6 weeks, so I can't see Houston give up too much for a back up center, certainly not enough to pry WCS from us. Maybe a KK for James Ennis swap?

Team extending Joerger's staff per Amick.

Good point. The Kings should be offering an extension this summer or Joeger will go into next season on the final year of his contract. If we finish this year strong, as I expect, I would hope the team and Joeger to be working on an extension this summer. Get it done Vlade! ;)

Time to put Bagley in the starting lineup?

I trust Joeger. Eventually though, Bagley will be starting, if not this year, he will be next year. If Bagley is inserted into the starting lineup and his game takes off, (ie avg 20 points 10 rebounds as a starter) this year. It would put the Kings in a better position to take a bigger step...

Time to put Bagley in the starting lineup?

Obviously the Kings are doing well. It’s great to be chasing the 8th seed and all. But, Bagley is one of the future stars and foundational pieces. Along with Fox, Bagley is probably the next most important player the Kings have to building the foundation of a championship caliber team. The more...

It may come down to Batum and we get Charlotte’s mid first round pick for our expirings versus trading WCS and our expirings for Otto Porter. If that is the case, I think we may be better off taking Batum and the first round pick vs losing WCS for Porter. I don’t think it is worth losing WCS...
