Marvin Bagley III and Michael Porter Jr. believe they are the best players in this NBA draft, though the best they can hope for is probably the No. 2 pick. The Sacramento Kings own it, and that's where the intrigue appears to begin Thursday. Arizona center Deandre Ayton is expected to be taken by the Phoenix Suns to open the draft, and then Bagley, Porter, Slovenian guard Luka Doncic or Michigan State's Jaren Jackson Jr. could be considered by Sacramento.

Back in high school, the newest Washington Wizard Troy Brown was an athletic freak. Playing at Centennial High School from Las Vegas, Nevada, the 15th overall pick went straight at the dominating 6-11 Bagley and posterized the man. Heck, Brown is still athletic.

The Sacramento Kings selected Duke forward Marvin Bagley III with the number two overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft on Thursday to help bolster their frontcourt. Just before the draft started, an ESPN report said the Kings were also interested in Luka Doncic and Michael Porter Jr., but felt Bagley would make the most profound impact. Bagley dominated the ACC in his one and only season with the Blue Devils, averaging 21.0 points and 11.1 rebounds per game.
