What IS Grant's relationship to the team?
He broadcasts for TV and talks for radio - probably gets paid by both.
But does he have any economic connection to the team?
Could the team get him removed from his radio or tv gig(s) after 30 years behind the mic?
I do remember that the Yankees were able to directly fire the great Red Barber (after he ordered the cameras to pan the 413 paid fans in a 67,000 seat Yankee Stadium), but those were the old days.
Does Grant have to worry about the Kings having such power over his livelihood in today's sports universe?
Or is he just sucking up because he wants to?
