Care to substantiate your insinuation that Artest used PEDs just because he admitted to drinking hard liquor during a game?
I'm having difficulty following your logic.
Its one thing to not like a guy because of his checkered past, its quite another to accuse him of drug use because he admitted to drinking.
By the way, I think Artest is an idiot because of the things he says and his on and off court behavior.

I agree with the other poster. Insinuating that Artest used PED's, because he drank liquor does nto make any sense. In fact PED's would not improve someone's shot. It might increase someones, strength, speed, energy, or overall quickness. Most of them wouldn't work on an instantaneous basis either, unless it's crystal meth, or an over the counter supplement that happens to be banned by the league.
If you're referring to other drugs in general, none of those would be performance enhancing and again would not make someone's shot more accurate. So, overall it doesn't make much sense.

I don't think it's fair to insinuate other drugs either. However, alcohol does not improve any of those abilites either. Its far more likely to impair them, actually. Alcohol just makes people think they are performing better than they really are. Maybe that's how Ron got the idea that he's as good as Kobe.

I'm not say baseball is like basket ball, or that Ron was tripping, but I would not put a quick bowl before a game (and maybe during halftime?) past him. I have a friend from High School that I used to play a lot of ball with. He was always pretty good, but after smoking he was unbelievable. He used to say that it was because he stopped over-thinking and just played by feel. On the flip-side, when I smoked and played it was always bad news for me.

thats true... maybe taking the edge off was all he needed... he didnt say that he was plastered. just that he drank. i smoke a bowl before i play videogames online, ranked matches are a ***** if you are stressed out about possibly losing. maybe he needed some liquid courage... not that i am for anyone using drugs and alcohol to improve their game.
this is old news, he rapped about it on his "my world" cd.
