Other teams know how to beat the Kings. Just shoot the three. The Kings can’t defend it. It’s not rocket science.
We Need some size and length. Need a dawg. We have big problems, not easily fixable. Didn’t see this coming.
Monte McNair…what are you doing? Can’t take much more of this….

I have a solution for the Kings. Leave the starting lineup as is, keep starting Keon.

Play Isaac Jones more, it's necessary

And please stop doubling like retards
I agree, If I was coach I would take out Debbo and have him come off the bench and put Jones in at PF. Then we can finally play a normal sized starting lineup. I am so over Browns small ball lineups.... We need to take a page out of Denver's playbook and just go Big....

This team is playing tight, tight, tight. You can feel it. They worked themselves up to playing almost an entire half loose, but then it snuck back up on them. With those players the question is whether or not they can get the same shots at the same frequency that they once did. Or the same role. So far this season Monk has been more of a spot guy. Adding another main option offensively like DDR has changed his role as much as anyone. Obviously they are much better shooters than this but hopefully this adjustment doesn't take much longer. That Huerter launch down 9 that just had the sense of a game killer was a staple of the Kings the last two seasons. This season it probably isn't what you want unless you want to go back to the ceiling of playing chaotic offense like the two seasons prior.
Makes sense. Huerter and Keegan are among the best shooters in basketball and are now approaching a seriously disastrous 20 game shooting slump. I think that'd affect anyone's mental and they're probably thinking quite a bit about their mechanics right now rather than just shooting and letting it fly.

Monk obviously brings the on-ball component and the energy, but he's just as much at fault here with his poor shooting. He's got to be an elite spacer too for this team to work

At least he's trying

Nothing works well enough, if you can't put the ball in the basket.

The problem is shooting. If they were shooting well, everything else would look good enough to get to 50 wins

both shot poorly last year also.

Also, another thing to remember is basically since that lone playoff series, Huerter hit that range of being a player that gets yanked when things fall apart. If you are a rhythm shooter that doesn't provide a bunch of need defensively that isn't really great at getting your own shots good luck. That's a tough spot to be in because if you miss your first 3 shots you likely aren't getting the minutes to make it back up. The issue with Monk is whether or not the Kings would be better off having defense at the end of the game. With DeRozan on board having that extra offense might not be as critical as having someone like Ellis out there to provide needs defensively.

I am not sure anything will change unless we start hitting 3 again. Even so, it doesn’t solve our inability to defend 3.
why don’t we concentrate on the 2 more? Why don’t we start with that? Mid range fox and derozan are lethal.
the thunder built their lead in the paint and mid range. Why can’t we do the same. Screw living and dying by the 3.

especially when Keon is shooting better than anyone on the team

Didn’t see this coming? Everybody saw this coming. People have been beggin for Monte to address the size issues and he’s done nothing.

I remember when brown would coach after each time out and be quick to call a time out when we didn't play right. Now he's all over the place. Doesn't challenge blatant easy reverse calls. His subs are all over the place. What has happened to our coach
If what he's doing makes any sense he's trying to get a sense of his roster in situations. Like subbing Jones out after one sequence. We have to give him enough credit to assume he's looking specifically at something. Now ideally you do that it preseason, but preseason was what it was.
