If we're running and firing up threes we're just not going to win. Most teams in the league can do it better than we can at this point. Our gameplan has got to emphasize getting to the line and grinding it out. Play to your personnel.

It is quite frustrating at this point. One positive on defense is if you are going to play down into the passing lanes, you BETTER get turnovers/deflections. The issue is when the other team stops slopping the ball around your defense stops too. This team made it up the ranks at the end of last season playing straight up defense, no real gimmicks. Just pressuring the ball. Attacking the dribble.

At least the Kings are hounding the ball now but the issue is clearly the Spurs know what they're doing. Two plays in a row the've just set a player up behind the low helper. One was drive and 1 by Barnes, the other would have been a dunk had the player not stepped out of bounds.

I absolutely hate the way we are playing this season. Never a sense of urgency. Some extremely dumb moments from a largely veteran roster. Why? It’s like we forgot how to play half the time.

Already -4 in 3PM and look headed for another 6+ 3PM deficit by the end of this game. Just hard to overcome that shooting gap. Especially if DDR cools down from mid-range.
