Huerter likely starting when cleared

If Brown is going to start Huerter, he’s going to need to game plan to get him some good looks early, otherwise he will be a non-factor.

As for the game last night, Huerter didn’t lose this game. We lost the game at the end of the 3rd and in the 4th quarter where we went ice cold and couldn’t get a bucket for extended minutes. Huerter wasn’t even playing in the 4th quarter. Our offense just came up short on shot after shot. We’re not going to win many games when we go on long scoring droughts like that.

Definitely way too soon to give up on Kev. I'm withholding judgement for 8-10 games. He did seem to play competent defense. I saw more lapses from DDR than Kevin which is good. If he can't shoot he has to become a defensive stud to justify his starting role. Which we already had in Keon Ellis, I want to see his numbers after 50 Attempts.
Why is Kevin Huerter starting over Keon Ellis?

I really liked Kevin’s defense too, and appreciated that he was playing within the offense rather than trying to jack up a bunch of shots to “get hot.” He has a new energy about him, and I’m cautiously optimistic that the best is yet to come.
