Even though we win, it was demoralizing seeing the Kings giving up so many 2nd chance shots. It's ridiculous, why do the Knicks keep getting 2nd chance shots. I know sometimes it can be lucky cuz the ball bounces their way but it may be the Kings failed to box or we just didn't have the length to and strength to beat them...anyway, it sucks that this game come right down to the wire. It should be a blow out if we get rebound.

Another thing I want to mention is that why is Barnes' defense on Randle so weak? Why is he backing away and not even giving an effort when you know Randle is going to drive at you? There is absolutely no resistant...what kind of defense is that? I spot three times where he literally just backing away and let Randle do layup with absolutely no resistant...of course he will score because you didn't put up a fight. One time he did a weak swipe, foul and send Randle to the line for 1...it's a terrible display of individual defense. I expect better from him because he's a solid defender...but tonight, he really disappoint me. He came up with a big steal at the end though...

I predicted game with more than 15 points difference and at halfway it seemed that I was right. But Knick came back fighting ....
I strongly disliked today rebounding issue, where only Sabonis and Keegan was doing propper job on rebounds, other players were very stagnant.
At the end, Sabonis (especially I liked the block) with Fox sealed the victory. So even ugly win is a win anyway and Kings are back to 2nd place on WC - huge achievement for this young team.

P.S. for those who are still missing Hali and posting your love to him at this stage of season and current Kings standings - I think you are wrong team fans...

Excited to see this full presser. THIS is a major reason why we've turned the corner this season and why I think we can continue what we're building here long-term. Kings are about to tie their most wins in 16 years, 2 seed in the West, 13-games over .500. And he's pissed. Rightfully so at the rebounding "effort". Calling out Foxy and Domas to be vocal leaders.

That play where Domas got the LeBron block and the sprinted back to get the O-Reb tip and no one went for the ball... That's the crap where Domas needs to be chewing out Huerter (and I think Davion was at the top of the key with him?) to go get the damn ball or at least go dive on the floor. If he's busting his ass, you should be too

Kings really had no business letting the Knicks back into this game, I think this has been an issue for the team particularly allowing the opposition to kill them with physicality on the boards.

There was another game where they were getting killed on the boards I think it was against the 76ers at home earlier in the season.

I think there was another game like that too perhaps against the Clippers earlier in the season as well?

Mitchell Robinson seemed impossible to box out and Josh Hart was grabbing so many second chance boards as well.

Is this just a matter of boxing out or is the defensive scheme of the Kings making things harder on that end ?

I think these are very good things to have happened to get the team to make tweaks if needed/possible

Also, I think Metu was horrendous and he really can't be playing like that down the line (unforced turnovers).

Lyles ought to be extended as soon as possible at a nice bump up for him 3-4 seasons more. He has been a steadying player in a lot of close wins. He is the most consistent bench player this year considering both sides of the ball.

The game was very stressful to watch, similar to the loss to the Mavs. The lack of boxing out and defensive rebounding was particularly maddening. The And-1 fouls were way too many. The refing was actually pretty fair.

Onward to the Susn.....Barkley actually would pick full Lakers squad against Kings in a series.....not happening.

Speak your mind sir. The freakin monitor of the forum isn’t even a kings fan. Hali was a fan fav of mine too. But I always wanted to keep fox
It was a ripping of the bandaid moment. And it paid off almost immediately.

Big fan of Hali and how he composed himself while wearing the jersey. But it was never going to work and I don't see how you can't be thrilled with the result. But no reason not to celebrate his good nights, just wish they could have come against a team we needed to lose.

He had been working his @$$ off to get to where he is now, and we've been trusting him. I think a good contract is warranted to repay his hard work getting in top shape this off-season.

I do not want to play the lakers. We don’t match up great against them playoff basketball and losing to them would make me go on a killing spree
