Can we please get something out of Huerter! Freakin rediculous. Hes no buddy! Shoot the dam ball whats this 4 attempts crap. Shoot and make a dang shot or bench him cause he def not helping on defense
The Mavs aren't ignoring that DHO and 3 ball from Keegan or Huerter tonight. Loved seeing that drive from Keegan. That's what keeps defenses honest if you aren't going to shoot over defenses. Huerter needs a little pick and roll IMO. Let him run some plays and see if that gets his mind back into it. His one on one defense has been decent though.

The Mavs defense is poopoo so if any of our guys manages to have an average shooting night from the perimeter, we should be in good position to win this. Kings are only 3-14 from three right now.
The Kings came into the game focused on paint play. Maybe that will force Kidd to go zone or something and relieve some of the run out pressure the Kings are seeing on the perimeter.
Offensively they are better, defense is highly suspect and the only question I had was depth/long term strategy. That move is the move a team with a 2 year window scared to death of losing Luka makes. Boom or bust. we'll see which it is. You can't declare either, yet. I'd argue the team last night was better, but Luka just does things.

This is a concern. No TO's and TD went full nuke and it's still tight? Can't allow Luka to keep dominating like this or it won't matter. He's on pace to have one of the more dominant, easy, and efficient +1 point per minute nights you're going to find.
Not for nothing but Kyrie essentially put up a Spencer Dinwiddie performance in the first half because Luka never passed him the ball enough for him to do anything with it.
It's disappointing to be down considering how it felt like we played great for most of the first half only to give it away in the last few minutes. We should have been up.

Considering the fact that UFOs are trending on social media, Kyrie might not even make it through his postgame press conference tonight without doing something inflammatory.
Theres nothing to knock off, im a grown man. Im just talkin sports with fellow king fans. Stop the thin skin. Is mentioning mods a bad word or somethin?
I think we win this one. They’ll cool off a bit from three and we’ll continue pushing the pace and making them run. Fox takes over in the fourth and gets a close win. Speaking it into existence!

I think he got his 4th point in the second quarter when Luka was sitting. He had the 3 that gave them the lead to close as well. Obviously they are better if they can play together and someone, anyone covers defense. But it's way too early to proclaim anything and if Luka freezes him out I don't see him continuing with the Mavs.
Even prime Jordan played within an offensive system more than this though. Every single Mavs possession is just them giving Luka the ball and letting him freelance for 20 seconds.

Yeah, but that was an era of physical play and defense. Now you just run pick and roll after pick and roll and let the points fall. Utterly sickening IMO but it's what it is unfortunately. All strategy from a management perspective is literally gone.
