It's still only the first game and we have many new players that need time getting adjusted to one another on the court. Disappointing game but also disappointing to read all the overreactions on game number 1.

Luke Walton failed to get the team ready at all. I hate him - Vlade crony. What a crap game and a crap way to start the season. Bagley complacent - completely owned all night. Dedmon butterfingers. Trash - Pure trash

I don't think it's an overreaction to think this is one of the most pathetic performances we've seen out of this team in years. That doesn't mean we lose 60 games this year, but it does mean I wasted 2 hours of my life tonight.

Ok cool then you really aren’t gonna enjoy the rest of this season. Great % 28 points and booker has 13.
He's a turnover machine. His stat TOs don't even accurately reflect his real TOs, like not setting up the screener properly. The guy just needs to shoot and stop his dribbling adventures.

Maybe the Suns are much better than we though? They look so much more active on defense and Ayton looks so good on defense.
Well, one thing is for sure, the Kings have units that from a talent perspective can match just about any team. Walton has kind of had a rep for playing players above their pay grade and we saw a bit of that tonight. If you're going to go down, you go down with that top 5, nobody else. They should be better than this but the Kings signed role players that fit around their main cogs. Not players that can step in place of those players. Not by a long shot.

On the bright side... this is one game out of 82. Meanwhile the cocky/obnoxious/definitely-not-ever-cheating Houston Astros are getting embarrassed in the World Series. So it's all good. :)

I’ve gotta say this has been extremely discouraging. If this team is serious about competing for the Playoffs you don’t get slapped around by what will be one of the worst teams in your conference in the first game of the season. Buddy showed up for one half, everything else has been horrible.

yeah Not impressed with game 1 from Walton. Dedmon only 14 minutes, yet we're getting absolutely destroyed in the paint and at the rim. Bagley and Fox only 24 minutes, yet we're getting creamed most of the 2nd half. Bjelica, Ariza and Bogi got waaaay too long of a leash.

I'm trying to find an explanation as to how Bogi can look like a freaking stud in international play but look like Orien Green in NBA action.
I think the answer to this one is actually pretty easy Tetsujin, it's been staring you in the face all game. International teams run plays to get guys open. Our idea of a "play" is to let the ball-handler dribble themselves into trouble and then throw the ball wildly to the perimeter. It is just one game but the complete lack of anything resembling a structured offense right out of the gate is highly troubling.
