Oh they will. I predict a LOT of scoreboard lighting up this year. We just need to have a positive point differential unlike last year.
This offseason we improved defensively TREMENDOUSLY... but we did it without sacrificing offense. Our offensive talent also improved significantly. Dedmond was an incredible signing. But the FA class in concert, given what we had to spend, was about as well executed as I could have possibly imagined. I can't think of a realistic scenario that the Kings FO might have gamed out that would have been better than what they got. I bet they ran the table on their target players.
Not only do we have a very well balanced roster offensively, but for the first time in over a decade, and honestly cannot see any defensive holes. The weakest defender in our top ten is Bogi - and he's not a major liability at all, I'd cal him an average defender. Our second unit is essentially a shut down squad. Our first unit has all solid defenders, and a potential all defensive team player, and a potential all defensive team second player (Bagley).
