Teams are starting to figure out the Kings play book. Almost every game we are seeing teams play 10 feet off of Willie. That completely mucks up the middle of the floor.
And that's exactly why they had a stretch 4 for the first part of the season knocking down shots instead of Harrison "brick" Barnes. Its a lot easier to guard 3 players than 4.

Pretty obvious by now the Clippers are just a better team. Their record is slightly better because they are better. Kings have more talent but Clippers play harder and more composed.

....At some point we have to start looking at the defense of our guards.
The guards (mostly Bogi and Buddy) have both really struggled on defense since the ASB. Barnes and Brewer and to an extent Willie have masked some of the mistakes but it's starting to catch up with the team here.

Nah, he's started to find it the last two games. The problem is the Kings insistence of getting to the rack. This is yet another game where the 3 point field goals is tanking. 14 in this game with Bagley out? Doug Christie is hitting the nail on the head per usual, if you drive, draw and kick. The Kings aren't going to win much making 5 3's in a game.

The thing is that they're not more talented. Who's their #1 option? Gallo. Who's their #2 option? Lou-Will. Who's their #3 option? Shamet. We are the more talented team... but we're not a better basketball team which just sucks.

Uhh...no he hasn't. Guys aren't respecting his shot and he's not taking or making many 3's. So the spacing and dynamic isn't the same at all compared to before.

They must be slow learners. Its only been that way 5 years.
The Kings are starting to run more pick and roll though. They used to run things through Cousins in the post, and last I checked the Kings weren't really ever much in the win column prior to this season. Setting up the post is much easier in a stuffed paint than running into it.
