The idea of the thread is somewhat quick to judgement but I don't believe the poll question is an unfair one. I would agree Vlade Divac is probably not the front office executive if the young players do not improve this season.
To me, regardless of wins and losses, we should be able to identify 4/5 of a starting core that could be a perennial playoff team. What helps him before this season even starts is that I believe at least three of those players are on this team. Fox bogdanovich and Buddy have shown more than just flashes of long-term solid starter and potential All-Star Talent. Giles, Bagley, and maybe even one of Willie or Skal, could be the fourth or maybe even the fifth player. we will certainly see but I certainly believe the Kings need at least one more very good player to be a deep playoff team. if nothing else to shore up the bench.
Vlade Divac is taking some chances and I believe has had hits and misses. Certainly it seems as if he missed on Papa, Hill, and Malachi. I believe he hit on Fox, buddy, bogdanovich, Giles, Bagley, and Vince Carter signing. I believe he made a wise move when he hired that front office executive that ultimately went to the Knicks. and depending upon how he works with the young Talent this season, I believe he got it right with the head coach as well
go Vlade Divac and go Kings!
