I guess this could be good news in our pursuit of Crabbe

If the Blazers use their cap space on Howard and Parsons, that's at least 40 million in starting salary next season, which has to be most of their cap space. I'd offer Crabbe 4/60 million and I'd have done so at 12:01 AM....quit stalling Vlade.
Wow - we need to jump on this and offer Crabbe a contract quick

???

There have been reports linking Crabbe to the Kings with words & phrases such as "on their radar," "going hard after," & "have eyes for." What makes you so certain that Vlade is stalling? You have absolutely no idea what's going on behind the scenes right now. Perhaps Vlade did call Crabbe immediately? Perhaps Vlade has an offer on the table but Crabbe is taking other offers? You really have no knowledge of what is actually happening so spare me the "I would have done this & would have done that" narrative...

LOL

You know ctrl-F right?
There is no tweet about Waiters 14 mil in those 10 pages.
BS stays BS.
YAHOO DID A VIDEO STREAM LAST NIGHT BEFORE FREEAGENCY STARTED. IT WENT INTO FREE AGENCY AND WOJ WAS TALKING ABOUT HIS INSIDE SOURCES. THEY WENT THROUGH EACH FA AND LAYED DOWN THEIR INSIDE INFO. THEY TALKED ABOUT DION WAITERS. THEY MAY HAVE TALKED ABOUT THE MONEY FIGURE ON THERE. WATCH THE VIDEO. WATCH THE VIDEO. WATCH IT. THERE IS NO TWEET. STOP RELYING ON TWITTER FOR EVERYTHING. Does this clarify things for you?

I'm 100000% sure I linked you their video.

I wouldn't want Dion Waiters on a vet's minimum contract. Players like him are just bad for basketball. Extreme statement, yes, but that's how much dislike his game, lack of effort/commitment, locker-room personality and selfish mentality. Hope we stay far, far away.

So far Vlade has not really tipped his hand about his intentions, so maybe the Waiters rumors can be taken with a grain of salt.

He will probably astonish us with a trade that nobody saw coming.

The problem with Crabbe is that even though Portland may want Parsons & Howard, if they don't land them they'll just wait the full 14 days or whatever the period is and match.

Now if they reach agreements with Parsons and Dwight then by all means the Kings should make a competitive offer.

Oh I thought Portland would have 3 days to decide if they want to match on the day he signs an offer sheet, no?

I believe they only have 3 days to match.

I thought the wait period was reduced from the old 7 or 10 down to three.

Contracts can't become official until the 7th, right? I'm guessing they're waiting for the handshakes before making another offer to Crabbe.

that is cool.
I said I believe you.
I just see that they did not deem that information reliable enough to post it anywhere (not just tweets), like they did for a ton of other stuff they spoke about.

Blazers are hardcore trolling their fans. First they kick off a (locally) beloved announce crew (yes, I know, I know, you're going to have to trust me) and bring in a Seattle guy. Now they are going to bring in two of their fan base's most hated players?!?

Can't wait to hear what the ladyfriend thinks about this.

Pacers are going to be a great team next year. Teague/Ellis/George/Young/Jefferson with Stuckey/Turner/S. Hill? I think they get at least 6th seed.
Indiana desperately need starting SG actually, cause Monta barely worked next to G.Hill, not gonna do well next to Teague.
And if that's Solo Hill on their bench, Pacers can pay him only his declined option of $2.3m at the most, so he's not coming back. Might have been Jordan Hill though.

Yeah you're right. I wonder if the Pacers would like something around a Ellis for McLemore trade? McLemore fits their team a lot more. He can be 3&D for them, and he's still only 23. The Pacers have been able to develop a lot of talents, I could see them helping Ben become a top SG 5 years from now. Ben has all the tools, but he just needs coaches to help him put it together.

Ellis' ball dominance tendencies would be a big problem going forward for them. It's interesting.

Would rather have Ellis than Rondo. I know they play different positions , but you can't have both guards needing the ball in their hands AND Cousins demanding it down low. So if I had to pick...

And you're right. That would be a good situation for Ben.
