Somebody already stated you only need 0.3 or more to catch and shoot. I guess that explains why we had players on the 3 pt line. Doesn't explain Thompson letting a player walk within 1 ft of the hoop.

Agreed, seems like people forgot what happened that year against the Lakers. I think people don't want to admit these leagues are rigged and purely entertainment, no one said entertainment is supposed to be fair, but at least for me the NBA is on the same level as WWE - a total joke of syndicated bull thanks to the corrupt refs and league. I like watching it for laughs though lol

And I think some people don't want to admit that there's a difference between a screw job and a choke job. To want to invoke Game 6 in comparison to this is offensive.

The point is, per an NBA rule, that basket shouldn't have counted. So no matter how the Kings played and how big of a lead they blew, they should have won by 1

Yes, YES I'm saying we lost because of the refs. They didn't follow the "not being able to catch and shoot the ball with .3 of a sec left.
They focused on the angle that was the worst. Not the one that showed the trajectory of the ball changing.
They called a technical on Boogie WALKING AWAY FROM THE REFS!!!

Why are there rules in the NBA if the refs are not going to enforce them? As far as I'm concerned the rest of the game is background noise when you have 3 refs on the floor who are not going to call a game the way it should be. Ive seen this in the NFL and MLB but the NBA refs take the cake. Maybe you had to have seen the NBA screw the kings in 2002 to really understand why a lot of us are really really angry about this. Try telling CWebb that blaming game 6 on the refs "is the trendy thing to do".

I can't believe you're actually bringing up 2002. Look, I get and understand the hurt from that series and I get and understand the hurt that can come from poor officiating. However, there comes a time when you HAVE to take ownership for the way your team plays. Those 2002 Kings were robbed. Webb, Vlade and company were robbed of a title. This 2014 team was not robbed. Missed call? Sure, depending who you ask. This 2014 team GAVE AWAY a 20-point lead for the 2nd straight game and had a complete mental lapse on D on the last play which should have never happened anyway. They were not robbed. They gave away this game. Please don't compare the 2002 WCF to Game number 9 in the 2014 reg season. They have got to be accountable for their actions.

And for those that want this young team to grow and start winning these games? The LEAST PRODUCTIVE thing you can do as a young team is to blame the refs. Grow some balls, take the blame and learn from it. Stop blaming everyone else.

How hard would it be to change the call though? Its the last play. If the calls wrong the kings win! It's not changing a call in the middle of the game.
It would give the NBA some major credibility. Something they don't have right now.

The exact same thing has occured two games in a row, we dominate when he's not in foul trouble and than he commit silly fouls and we lose, how is that "horse manure". Him and JT just can't not foul in critical times of the game, I have never seen anything like it.

I would like to start by saying that JASON THOMPSON IS THE WORST STARTING POWER FORWARD IN THE NBA ! All he had to do was protect the rim on that last play and his BBIQ is SO DAMN POOR. If he was doing what he was supposed to do and guard the rim the Kings would have won. Instead for some unknown and mindless reason he decided to go out and guard the foul line ???? He needs to GO! THOMPSON does that kind of mind numbing crap ALL THE TIME. Oh and Hollins was out of position should have been between the inbounder and the basket. They didn't have TIME to throw it to the middle of the court. WHY would you try to cut THAT pass off? BAD PLAY by a BAD player.

The Great Rudini performed his best magic trick. HE COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED in the 4th quarter. Nowhere to be found.

Which is still 1000% better than Sessions. Need to unload that steaming mound of manure. First game home they need to have RAY MAC be the backup PG. He is just a better player.

Cousins continues to get in foul trouble and it is KILLING the KINGS. The team gets worse offensively and defensively when he is on the bench. He just needs to learn to play defense without fouling so much. It's as simple as that. He needs to control himself. Stop the frustration fouls. Play more sound fundamental defense. Because the main problem with Cousins in foul trouble is that they HAVE NO BACKUP CENTER! They need a REAL NBA caliber backup center. As long as we have no backup center and Cousins is on the bench with too many fouls we will lose with no center in the game. Jason Thompson is awful. Landry is not a center. Hollins is a joke.

But with all that said, the Kings played a great game up until about midway into the 4th. They have reached a new level where they can outplay a team for a majority of the game and still lose because they still have not learned how to close out games down the stretch. Just like Malone said in the postgame, this team doesn't know how to hold a lead. Same as the game in Dallas. They are not playing defense the same in the 4th as they do in the 1st. You cant play that sloppy with a big lead and expect to win. And you cant win without your starting center on the floor.

Malone needs to forget Sessions (AND Williams) are on the team. They are just garbage. This team is SOOO close to becoming a competitive team. They need to just get rid of JASON THOMPSON. His BBIQ is a negative number. Look at that last play as Exhibit A ! He makes the team worse when he is on the floor. RAMONE SESSIONS plays like he doesn't want to play for Sacramento. We need to oblige him. Package them both for some popcorn and a 3 day old arena dog. GAWD this game pissed me off !!!
