4-1 baby! Nice Win. I was afraid they were going to come out overconfident against Denver after beating them in Denver. But Kings took care of business. Nice to see Ben hit some shots. Cousins just going into BEAST mode this game!
The true test will be these next 4 road games against Phx, OKC, Dallas, and Grizzlies, and then World Champs at our home.

Fun fact: According to the Elias Sports Bureau, after 5 games the Sacramento Kings are 4 games ahead of the L.A. Lakers because Hahahahahaha

The flow and energy of this team is unbelievable.
Jason Thompson, after all this time, finally understands his roll and becomes a key to our success.
Cousins, the leader. Quietly discussing with ref on missed calls. Showing restrain and respect. Destroying everyone.
Benny Mac blocking shots and taking names. Not looking completely lost out there. Playing within himself.
The team as a whole getting to the line but not forcing shots. Ball movement, literally looking like the ****ing Spurs at times.
Most importantly, having fun and doing what we knew they could do.

Are you sure? We started Tariq Abdul-Wahad at SG for most of the season and Corliss Williamson was our #2 option after C-Webb. You can see the beginnings of that glory year roster and rotation but Lawrence Funderburke was our third big and playing 20 minutes a game for goodness sake. J-Will and Peja were both rookies then and at the time not all that superb.
Maybe inside but not outside. And that's only narrowly considering CWebb/Vlade. Backcourt of JWill/Christie and outside with Peja drilling dagger 3s tops current Kings IMO - plus Adelman is better than Malone at least at this point in his young career as NBA head coach. It's an endless debate always

Cousins carried on a running conversation with Nuggets coach Brian Shaw the entire game, and at one point walked over to Denver's bench and needled the players for the way they were defending him. "Are you guys kidding me?" Cousins said as he walked by. Shaw was disappointed his players didn't respond. "Nobody else took it personally," Shaw said. "The way I feel about that is if nobody wants to stand up to it, then we should get our butts kicked and we did. He should talk to us that way if we don't have any professional pride as a group."
